ONLINE: Mindful Healing – Training the Mind and Heart – Peace, Health and Happiness through Meditation

I am pleased to be returning to New York Insight Meditation Center via ZOOM to present a 4-week, ongoing class, "Mindful Healing – Training the Mind and Heart – Peace, Health and Happiness through Meditation!" starting Tuesday April 18th and running through May 9th. (7 - 8:30pm ET).

Keeping it simple through basic and foundational mindfulness practices and Buddhist teachings, this class will focus on cultivating, balancing and integrating a mindful awareness and a compassionate heart in all aspects of our lives.

We’ll discuss and explore taking refuge, the 4 noble truths, the 8 fold path, the 3 characteristics, 7 intentions, mindfulness of the body, mind and heart (including loving kindness, compassion , equanimity and joy), forgiveness, gratitude, the 5 hindrances, and working with difficult emotions.

The class is an opportunity to review, deepen and reinforce your meditation practice, insight and understanding and support your continued journey on the path to peace, health and happiness. Whatever your background, whatever your experience, all are welcome, we’re all beginners.

This course will be offered via Zoom. All are welcome.
